Reservoir stimulation effects are achieved using advanced transducer designs to resonate at frequencies optimizing a complex signal shape that has application for any oscillating structure in a broad-band frequency domain. The single generator produces multi-frequency, multimodal, modulated sonic and ultrasonic vibrations producing pulse repetitive, phase, aplititude and frequency modulated wave excitation that is ideal for agitating non-uniform liquid and solid masses. The system offers excellent control and repeatability through the programmable interface, avoiding the creation of stationary or standing waves common with many conventional systems that generate regions of both high and low acoustic acitivity. Acoustic excitation utilizing AWSL technology provides a relatively uniform stimulation within the oil reservoir.
